First off, we identify and research a suitable subject model from one of the main Scottish fleets and then, using an equivalent existing product from the volume suppliers, conduct an extensive 'makeover' which will involve dismantling the 'donor' diecast model and stripping it down to the bare metal. We then apply a completely new paint finish (mostly sprayed by airbrush) apply decals and lining as appropriate to the chosen new livery, a final clear varnish coat and finally re-assemble the re-painted components into a completely new finished product. One which is not available 'off the shelf' and is therefore an 'exclusive' and 'original' collector's item.
